📋 Terms of Service

By submitting an intake form, making a payment, or using any service offered by Very Guud Services ("we," "us," "our"), you ("the client," "you") agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Services Offered

Very Guud Services offers creative and professional services including but not limited to: website design and development, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising management, logo and brand identity design, résumé writing, LinkedIn profile optimization, and interview preparation coaching.

2. Project Initiation

A project is formally initiated when: (a) the client has completed and submitted an intake form, (b) a project scope has been mutually confirmed via email or written communication, and (c) the required deposit or full payment has been received and cleared.

Very Guud Services reserves the right to decline any project at its sole discretion before payment is received.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, complete information in the intake questionnaire
• Responding to review requests and approvals in a timely manner (within 5 business days)
• Providing any required assets (logos, photos, copy) within 7 business days of project start
• Ensuring submitted content does not infringe on third-party copyrights or trademarks
• Providing feedback that is specific and actionable

4. Turnaround Times

Stated turnaround times begin on the business day after full payment (or deposit) is received and confirmed. Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees. Delays caused by late client responses, missing assets, or requested scope changes are not counted toward the turnaround period.

5. Communication

All project communication must occur via email or the agreed-upon channel. Requests made verbally, via social media, or via text (outside of our designated channels) may not be honored or tracked. Keep a record of all approvals and feedback submitted.

💳 Refund Policy

Website & Digital Services

• Deposit (50%): Non-refundable once work has begun (typically within 1–2 business days of payment). The deposit covers initial discovery, strategy, and early design/development work.
• Final payment (50%): Due upon client approval of the final deliverable. Non-refundable once approved and delivered.
• If you change your mind before work begins: Full refund of deposit within 24 hours of payment. Contact us immediately at the email below.
• Monthly services (ads management): Cancel with 30 days' written notice. No partial-month refunds on already-billed periods. Ad spend paid directly to Meta is outside our control and not refundable by Very Guud Services.

Branding & Logo Services

• Deposit (50%): Non-refundable once design concepts have been delivered to the client.
• Final payment (50%): Due upon approval of final designs. Non-refundable upon receipt of final files.
• If you're unsatisfied with both design concepts: We will offer a third concept at no additional charge before any refund is considered. We do not offer refunds based solely on subjective preference after revisions have been completed.

Career Services (Résumé, LinkedIn, Interview Prep)

• Payment: Career services are paid in full upfront. No deposits — full payment required before work begins.
• Non-refundable once work has begun. Work is considered begun once you receive any draft, outline, or scheduled session confirmation.
• Interview prep sessions: Non-refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled session. Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled once at no charge.
• Exception: If we fail to deliver the service entirely (no draft sent, no session held), a full refund will be issued.

When Very Guud Services Fails to Deliver

If we are unable to complete your project for any reason on our end, you will receive a full refund of all payments made, including deposits. This is our commitment to you.

How to Request a Refund

Email us at Veryguudservices@gmail.com with your full name, project description, and reason for the refund request. We respond to all refund inquiries within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method via Stripe.

✏️ Revision Policy

Every project includes a set number of revision rounds as stated in the package description. A "revision round" means the client provides consolidated feedback on the current draft, and Very Guud Services makes the requested changes in a single round of updates.

What counts as a revision

• Text/copy changes
• Color or font adjustments
• Layout tweaks within the same design direction
• Minor structural changes

What does NOT count as a revision (scope change)

• Requesting an entirely new design direction after concepts are delivered
• Adding new sections or services not in the original scope
• Changing the brand name, tagline, or core business description mid-project
• Rebuilding from scratch after approval

Scope changes are quoted separately and require an additional payment before proceeding. Additional revision rounds beyond what's included are available at $75 per round and must be purchased before the revision is started.

Revision requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of receiving a draft. Requests submitted after this window may not be honored under the original project terms.

💳 Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Very Guud Services does not store your credit card information. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

• Website & Branding: 50% deposit to begin, 50% upon delivery and approval of final work.
• Career Services: 100% upfront before work begins.
• Monthly Ad Management: Billed on the 1st of each month, in advance. First month's payment is required before ad campaigns are launched.
• Rush delivery (+$100): Added to the deposit or charged separately before rush work begins.
• Add-ons: Charged at the time of the original project payment or before the additional work begins.

All prices are in USD. Invoices and payment links are sent via email. Projects will not begin or continue until the relevant payment is received and cleared.

🔑 Intellectual Property

What you own

Upon receipt of final payment in full, the client owns 100% of all final deliverables — including final logo files, website files, résumé documents, and any other completed creative work. Very Guud Services transfers full ownership upon final payment.

What Very Guud Services retains

• The right to display completed work in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless the client requests confidentiality in writing before project start.
• Ownership of all work-in-progress files, drafts, and concepts not selected or approved by the client. These files remain the property of Very Guud Services and will not be transferred.
• Rights to any original creative methods, templates, or tools used to produce the work.

Client-provided content

By submitting photos, copy, or other materials to Very Guud Services for use in a project, the client warrants that they have the legal right to use and share those materials and that doing so does not infringe on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or rights. Very Guud Services is not liable for client-provided content that infringes on third-party rights.

Marketing & Advertising Results

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to create effective campaigns and websites, but we make no warranty, express or implied, that any specific business outcome will be achieved.

Career Services

Branding & Logo Design

Very Guud Services creates original logo and brand designs to the best of our ability. However, we do not conduct trademark searches or provide legal clearance for brand names, logos, or visual identities. It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure that their business name, logo, and brand identity do not infringe on existing registered trademarks before commercial use.

Very Guud Services is not a legal service and does not provide legal advice. For trademark registration, trademark clearance, or any intellectual property legal matter, we strongly recommend consulting a licensed attorney.

General

All services are provided "as is." Very Guud Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service in question.

🔒 Privacy Policy

What information we collect

• Contact information you provide (name, email, phone, business name, location)
• Project details submitted in intake forms
• Payment confirmation data via Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
• Communication records (emails, messages)

How we use it

• To complete your project and communicate about it
• To send invoices and payment confirmations
• To notify you of project updates and follow-ups
• To improve our services (aggregate, non-identifiable data only)

What we don't do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes
• We do not store credit card or banking information
• We do not send unsolicited marketing emails

Third-party services

We use the following third-party tools to operate our business: Stripe (payments), Formspree (form submissions), Zapier (workflow automation), and Google Workspace (communication and file sharing). Each of these services has its own privacy policy. By using our services, you acknowledge that your information may be processed by these tools.

Data retention

We retain project and communication records for up to 3 years for business and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us, subject to any legal retention requirements.
